| Rotech Tooling, set
up in the mid eighties in Gothenburg, Sweden, started business in the
development, design and manufacture of spot and arc welding accessories,
largely for the European automotive markets with such items as weld
timers, spot welding guns, swivel units, supply looms, tip dress units and
torch cleaners, products that are still produced by the company.
From this early position Rotech have naturally progressed into robotic and dedicated automation for the automotive market and general industries, expanding from a 500 sq.m (5000 sq.ft) facility to currently around 3100 sq.m (31000 sq.ft) prototype, development, design and manufacture operation, along with a further 3000 sq.m (30000 sq.ft) design and manufacture production facility. Rotech Tooling is today a Sweden based internationally operating company with representation in Germany, UK, Turkey, US and Brazil.
You reach Rotech Tooling by car or by public transportation in 40-50 minutes from downtown Gothenburg. A taxi drive from Landvetter Airport takes approximately 1h. Coming by car on highway E6 you use road no. 155 towards Oeckeroe. The free ferry from Lilla Varholmen takes you to Hoenoe. Rotech Tooling is situated 500 m from the ferry terminal, on the right hand side. Bus no. 240, 241 and 245 takes you from the Nils Eriksson terminal to Lilla Varholmen. |
